New Delhi, 12th Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid homage to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati on his birth anniversary, recalling his contributions to education, social reform, and the enrichment of Indian culture and tradition.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister described Dayanand Saraswati as a leader who dedicated his life to the service of the nation.
He said the reformer made unparalleled contributions not only in promoting education but also in strengthening India’s cultural and traditional values. Modi added that Dayanand Saraswati’s efforts for social reform would continue to inspire generations of Indians.
Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of the Arya Samaj, is remembered for his campaigns against social evils and his emphasis on education, equality, and a return to Vedic principles.
