New Delhi, 28th Jan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid homage to Punjab Kesari Lala Lajpat Rai on his birth anniversary, remembering the legendary freedom fighter for his unwavering commitment to India’s independence.
The Prime Minister said that Lala Lajpat Rai devoted his entire life to liberating Mother Bharati from the chains of slavery and described his sacrifice as a guiding light for generations to come.
“His life of sacrifice will continue to remain a source of inspiration for every generation of the country,” Shri Modi said while paying tributes to the great nationalist leader.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote that Lala Lajpat Rai was an immortal son of the motherland who gave his all for the nation’s freedom, and that his legacy of courage and patriotism will always inspire India’s youth and citizens.
