Prof. M. M. Goel Honoured with 18th Torch Bearer of Dwarka (Voice of Media) Award 2025

Dwarka, New Delhi
January 18, 2026: Needonomics School of Thought, a think tank propounded by Prof. Madan Mohan Goel, has expressed its profound sense of gratitude for conferring the 18th Torch Bearer of Dwarka (Voice of Media) Award 2025 upon Prof. Goel. The award was presented at a dignified ceremony held at the CCRT Auditorium, New Delhi, on January 17, 2026.

Prof. Madan Mohan Goel is three-time Vice-Chancellor, and superannuated Professor from Kurukshetra University.
Expressing his heartfelt appreciation, Prof. Goel thanked Mrs. Sudha Sinha Ji and Mr. Mukesh Sinha Ji, founders of Dwarka City, along with the editorial team, for this esteemed recognition. He described the honour as not merely a personal achievement, but a collective acknowledgment of the values, vision, and ethical framework championed by the Needonomics School of Thought, which advocates growth with goodness and need-based development.

Prof. Goel highlighted that the Sinha couple truly embody the spirit of Jivan-Mukti—a liberated soul engaged in selfless service while living. Drawing inspiration from the mandate of the Anu-Gita, he observed that such lived service and noble action elevate individuals beyond formal titles and honours, rendering them greater in essence than even a Padma Shri awardee.

He also lauded the constructive, visionary, and inclusive role of Dwarka City in providing a credible platform for citizens to articulate ideas and perspectives. Such initiatives, he noted, significantly contribute to shaping Dwarka as a gateway to Delhi marked by excellence, inclusivity, and cultural vibrancy.

Prof. Goel placed on record his sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Padma Shri Dr. Mahesh Verma Ji, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, for graciously honouring him on this occasion.

The event reaffirmed the growing relevance of ethical thought leadership, community-driven media, and indigenous policy frameworks like Needonomics in India’s journey toward holistic and inclusive development.
