Gohana, 10th Jan: To mark Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day, the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Smriti Samiti will organise the ‘Bharat Kesari Dangal’ along with a cultural programme on January 11, 2026, at Ashirwad Garden on Sonipat Road in Gohana.
Giving details of the event, Samiti’s State President Pandit Parshuram Gaur said Haryana Cabinet Minister Dr Arvind Sharma will preside over the programme. The wrestling tournament will offer a first prize of ₹2 lakh, a second prize of ₹1 lakh and a third prize of ₹71,000.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the programme as the chief guest. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, former minister and former MP Rita Bahuguna, Uttarakhand Cabinet Ministers Subodh Uniyal and Saurabh Bahuguna, MP Mahesh Sharma, Haryana Minister of State Gaurav Gautam and Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda will be present as special guests.
The organisers said the programme aims to celebrate youth power, sportsmanship and cultural heritage while paying tribute to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
