New Delhi, 4th Jan: The newly constituted Delhi provincial unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti (ABISS) held its first meeting through an online platform on January 3, 2026, marking a significant step in strengthening the organisation’s activities in the national capital.

The meeting focused primarily on preparations for the Swami Vivekananda Youth Day programmes, which are scheduled to be held on January 11 at the ABISS Central Office, Keshav Kunj, Seventh Floor, Jhandewalan.

During the discussions, members deliberated on the introduction of the newly formed provincial team, expansion of organisational outreach, formulation of future action plans and defining the long-term vision of the committee.

National Organising Secretary Dr. Balamukund Pandey addressed the gathering and provided guidance on organisational objectives, operational methodology and upcoming initiatives. He underlined the importance of promoting historical awareness, cultural consciousness and national spirit among the youth.

Members present unanimously resolved to work collectively to ensure the smooth execution of upcoming programmes and to use Youth Day as a platform to reinforce historical pride and cultural values.

The meeting was attended by Delhi provincial president Prof. D.C. Chaubey, patron Prof. Ramesh, organising secretary Dr. Ajay Singh, general secretary Dr. Nirmal Pandey and other office bearers and members.
