New Delhi, 30th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condoled the loss of lives in a tragic bus mishap in Uttarakhand’s Almora district and expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families.
Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister said the incident was “extremely saddening” and extended his condolences to those who lost their loved ones in the accident.
“The loss of lives due to a bus mishap in the Almora district of Uttarakhand is extremely saddening. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover at the earliest,” the Prime Minister posted.
The accident, which occurred near Sailapani bend in the Vinayak tehsil area of Almora, had resulted in several casualties and injuries, triggering large-scale rescue and relief operations by the local administration and disaster response teams.
Authorities have assured all necessary medical assistance to the injured, while an inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the mishap.
