‘Namotsav’ Unfolds Modi’s Life Story in a Grand Multimedia Spectacle

Ahmedabad, 30th Dec: An evening of cultural grandeur and national pride unfolded in Ahmedabad with the inauguration of ‘Namotsav’, a large-scale musical multimedia production celebrating the life, leadership and visionary journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the three-day cultural programme organised by Sanskardham. Describing the production as a reflection of transformational leadership, Shah said that ‘Namotsav’ depicts a leader who has inspired 140 crore Indians to work towards making India the world’s leading nation by 2047.
The mega stage production traces Modi’s journey from his humble beginnings in Vadnagar to his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and later as Prime Minister of India. Through music, narration, dance and immersive digital visuals, the show presents defining milestones of governance reforms, infrastructure growth, inclusive development and social empowerment.
More than 150 artists bring these moments to life, offering audiences a vivid panorama of India’s developmental story and the evolution of the Gujarat Model into a national governance blueprint. The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of cultural practitioners, spiritual leaders, scholars and citizens.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting supported the programme through the Press Information Bureau, CBC and the Publications Division, which set up a book stall featuring prominent titles and compilations of the Prime Minister’s speeches. Senior officials, including Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi and PIB Principal DG Dhirendra Ojha, visited the stall and appreciated the initiative.
‘Namotsav’ stood out as a powerful blend of tradition and technology, reinforcing the role of culture in narrating leadership stories, inspiring national consciousness and celebrating India’s democratic and developmental journey.
