Chandigarh, 30th Dec: Former Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and Additional Solicitor General of India, Satya Pal Jain, on Monday said that Indian culture is unique in the world as it prays for the welfare of the entire humanity and not just for a particular religion, caste or region.

He was addressing the gathering as the chief guest at the “Divya Shrimad Bhagwat Krishna Katha and Gopi Geet Mahayagya” organised in Palsora. Jain said that India’s religious beliefs and cultural traditions have always carried a universal message of peace, harmony and coexistence.

Earlier, Jain sought blessings from Swami Rasik Ji Maharaj by touching his feet. Swami Rasik Ji Maharaj honoured him with a shawl and conveyed his blessings.

Speaking about India’s spiritual legacy, Jain said that saints, sages and spiritual leaders like Swami Rasik Ji Maharaj have played a vital role in preserving and passing on the country’s religious and cultural heritage from generation to generation.

He added that as long as India’s traditions, saints and spiritual values remain alive, there can never be any threat to the identity and existence of the nation.
