New Delhi, 28th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday chaired the National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi, reviewing key governance challenges and reform priorities aimed at improving administrative delivery across states and Union Territories.

The high-level meeting brought together senior bureaucrats from across the country to deliberate on policy coordination, reform implementation and mechanisms to strengthen Centre–State cooperation.

Taking to X, the Prime Minister described the deliberations as productive and forward-looking. “Had insightful discussions on various issues relating to governance and reforms during the National Conference of Chief Secretaries being held in Delhi,” he said.

The conference is seen as a platform to align administrative priorities, assess progress on ongoing reforms and encourage best practices in governance, with a focus on efficient service delivery and citizen-centric administration.
