Over 8 Lakh Students Left Bengal: BJP Leader

Pradeep alleges school closures, Hindu exodus and industrial decline under TMC rule

GG News Bureau
Kolkata, 26th Dec: Senior BJP leader Pradeep has made a series of sharp allegations against the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, claiming that more than eight lakh students have left the state and over 3,000 schools have been forced to shut down due to what he described as worsening law and order and political “hooliganism”.

Addressing party workers, Pradeep alleged that industries and factories are increasingly reluctant to set up operations in West Bengal, leading to shrinking employment opportunities and forcing families to migrate out of the state in search of better prospects.

He further accused the ruling TMC of promoting “polarisation and appeasement politics”, claiming that religious freedom of Hindus was being undermined. According to him, West Bengal is approaching a critical inflection point and is staring at a possible exodus of Hindu families if corrective steps are not taken.

Calling for an immediate change in the state’s political regime, Pradeep said governance failures, lack of industrial growth and alleged selective policies were creating fear and insecurity among citizens.

The Trinamool Congress has not yet responded to the allegations.
