New Delhi, 25th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, remembering him as a towering statesman who dedicated his life to good governance and nation-building.

The Prime Minister said Vajpayee will always be remembered not only as an eloquent orator but also as a spirited poet, whose personality, works and leadership continue to guide the country’s all-round development.

In a post on X, Modi said that Vajpayee devoted his entire life to strengthening the foundations of good governance and national development, adding that his legacy will remain a guiding force for generations to come.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee served as India’s Prime Minister three times and is widely regarded as one of the most respected political leaders in the country’s history.
