Assam,Guwahati 24th December : A powerful protest was held on Wednesday at Lal Ganesh Tiniali in Guwahati against the continuing atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. The demonstration was jointly organized by the Guwahati Metropolitan Committee of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the Lal Ganesh Prakhanda Committee, and the Bajrang Dal. Hundreds of participants from across the city, representing the wider Sanatani Hindu society, took part, making the protest a significant expression of public anger and concern.
Unified Protest Under VHP–Bajrang Dal Leadership
The protest was marked by strong symbolic acts and forceful slogans. Demonstrators raised their voices against what they described as systematic and ideologically driven violence against minority Hindus in Bangladesh.

Public display of unity against persecution of Hindus
Protesters stated that the Hindu minority in Bangladesh is facing organized and targeted violence, while the silence of the international community has only emboldened extremist forces. Speakers accused global institutions of selectively ignoring the suffering of Hindus across borders. Demand for Firm Action Against Illegal Infiltration
During the protest, speakers made strong appeals to both the central and Assam state governments to take immediate and uncompromising action against illegal infiltration.
The key demands raised were:
Immediate identification of illegal infiltrators residing in Assam .Deportation of all undocumented migrants from the state .Strengthening of border security and round-the-clock surveillance .Zero compromise on national security and demographic balance.
Protesters warned that unchecked infiltration poses a serious threat not only to Assam’s demographic stability but also to India’s internal security. They asserted that any demographic imbalance on what they called “this sacred land” would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Leadership Calls for Vigilance and Organization
The protest was conducted under the leadership of the Lalg Ganesh Prakhanda President and the Bajrang Dal Convenor. Organizers emphasized that the demonstration remained peaceful, disciplined, and purposeful, reflecting both restraint and resolve.
Messages delivered by the leadership included:
Atrocities against Hindus will no longer be silently endured
Anti-national activities by those residing in India will not be tolerated
Hindu society must remain organized, alert, and united
Leaders reiterated that protests such as this are meant to awaken public consciousness and compel authorities to act decisively. According to them, such demonstrations will continue until concrete action is taken and justice is ensured for persecuted Hindu minorities across the border.
