New Delhi, 20th Dec: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Friday congratulated Indian youth para-athletes for their outstanding performance at the Asian Youth Para Games 2025, where they secured a total of 102 medals, including 36 gold, 28 silver and 38 bronze.

In a post on X, Shah praised the athletes for their historic achievement, describing it as a reflection of their dedication, resilience and unwavering spirit. He said the medal haul showcased the strength and determination of India’s young para-athletes on the international stage.

Shah also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for India’s rapid emergence as a global hub of sports talent, supported by world-class infrastructure and a strong sporting ecosystem.

“Indian youth shine at the Asian Youth Para Games 2025. Heartiest congratulations to our young para-athletes for a historic haul of 102 medals,” Shah said, wishing them continued success and glory in all their future endeavours.
