Second edition of agriculture and horticulture festival to open at Rashtrapati Nilayam from January 3

New Delhi, 19th Dec: President of India Droupadi Murmu on Friday reviewed the preparations for the opening of the second edition of Udyan Utsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad.

The nine-day Agriculture and Horticulture Festival will be open to the public from January 3 to January 11, 2026, between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm, with the last entry allowed at 7:00 pm. Entry to the festival will be free for all visitors.

Udyan Utsav aims to promote awareness about sustainable agriculture, horticulture and environmentally responsible lifestyles, while celebrating India’s green traditions and community engagement.

The festival will showcase a wide range of attractions, including enhanced seasonal flower beds, curated floral installations, upgraded garden spaces and specially designed selfie points. Visitors will also be able to explore agriculture and horticulture-themed stalls, live demonstrations, eco-craft workshops and interactive knowledge zones.

The event is expected to draw visitors from across the region and serve as a platform to highlight sustainable practices and innovation in agriculture and horticulture.
