CUH Plans to Host National Seminar on Gita-Inspired Needonomics: VC

Mahendergarh , 2nd December: Prof. Madan Mohan Goel, Propounder  Needonomics School of Thought, former Vice-Chancellor (thrice), and Superannuated Professor of Kurukshetra University, visited Mahendergarh today and presented a copy of his newly authored book “Gita-Inspired Needonomics: A Pragmatic Solution for a Sustainable Future” to Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana (CUH).  The  book was  released by Maanya   Mukul  Kanithar Ji on November 30 ,2025  at Nagpur Book Festival organized by National Book Trust, India (Ministry of Education, Govt. of India).
The book offers an integrative and insightful framework that blends the eternal wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita with the contemporary economic philosophy of Needonomics. It lays out a compelling approach to ethical living, economic discipline, and sustainable development—values urgently needed to navigate modern challenges.
During the interaction, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar expressed keen interest in the Needonomics framework and conveyed his motivation to organize a national seminar at CUH on the relevance and application of the Needonomics School of Thought in the present context. Such an academic initiative, he noted, would promote meaningful dialogue on value-based economics and its role in nation-building.
Prof. M.M.Goel was in Mahendergarh for other confidential engagements, during which this significant academic exchange took place. His latest contribution is expected to inspire students, researchers, and policymakers seeking holistic and sustainable solutions rooted in India’s knowledge traditions of Gita and Anu-Gita.
