J&K Announces Trials for Junior National Kabaddi Girls Team

Selection process scheduled in Jammu from December 4 to 7

Jammu, 29th Nov: The J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association has announced that the selection trials for the 51st Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls) will be conducted from December 4 to 7, 2025. The information was shared by the Association’s General Secretary, Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta.

As per the eligibility criteria, participating players must be 20 years or below on the last day of the event and must weigh 65 kg or less.

Dr. Gupta has asked all affiliated districts and clubs across the Union Territory to send their registered players for the trials. The selected team will participate in the 51st Junior National Kabaddi Championship for girls scheduled in Kolkata from December 25 to 28, 2025.

He also outlined the documents required from participants, including two passport-size photographs, photocopies of Aadhaar Card, AKFI registration card, J&K domicile certificate, and a medical fitness certificate issued by an authorised doctor.

Players not registered with the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) will not be eligible to participate in the trials or the national championship.
