Faridabad, 23rd Nov: Amid rising unease, parents of students at Al-Falah Medical College in Faridabad, Haryana, have called for urgent intervention from the university administration as the institution faces regulatory scrutiny and a security investigation.

A written representation was submitted on Saturday to the vice chancellor, seeking a clear roadmap to safeguard the academic future of hundreds of enrolled medical students.

Parents highlighted the growing fear that the National Medical Commission (NMC) may withdraw recognition and that the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) could suspend the college.

“We came here today because we were worried about the future of our students in this university,” said Rajnish, a parent from Delhi, speaking to NDTV after meeting faculty members. “As a parent it is disturbing to know that the university where our children are studying is under the lens because of involvement in terror-related activities.”

The concern stems largely from an ongoing probe into an alleged white-collar terror network linked to individuals who worked at the college. One former doctor is reported to have carried out a suicide bombing in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, leaving 13 dead.

Parents said the unfolding situation has caused “unprecedented disruption,” with fears that degrees, internships and upcoming examinations could be affected if regulatory action proceeds.

Calling the issue both emotionally and financially devastating, the representation urged the administration to offer guarantees on academic continuity and degree validity.

Parents from several states have joined the appeal, warning they will approach higher authorities if no immediate clarification is provided.

Al-Falah University has yet to issue an official statement. The situation remains fluid, and families say they are prepared to escalate their efforts to protect the academic careers of their children.
