Mexico Fatima Bosch won Miss Universe crown, India Manika Vishwakarma misses top 12

WASHINGTON – According to media reports on Friday Miss Mexico’s Fatima Bosch rose above controversy to claim as she won the coveted global crown Miss Universe.
India’s Manika Vishwakarma ended her Miss Universe 2025 journey earlier than expected, missing a place in the Top 12
Miss Universe contestants from 121 countries competed in Bangkok, where Mexico’s Fatima Bosch won the crown.
Media reported that at a grand evening filled with cheers and a hint of drama, Mexico’s Fatima Bosch was declared the winner of Miss Universe 2025.
Bosch 25-year-old beauty, who had already captured hearts across the world, walked away with the crown after delivering one of the most inspiring answers of the night.
Her win came as a moment of pride for Mexico, while India’s hopes for a spot in the Top 12 came to an early end.
Fatima Bosch made headlines when she walked out in her evening gown and heels, reportedly after being scolded by a Thai pageant director. The incident sent shockwaves among viewers.
In the final moments of the show, last year’s winner, Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, placed the crown on Fatima’s head.

Ms. Bosch was asked what message she would deliver at the United Nations General Assembly, Fatima offered a heartfelt message that won both the judges and the audience.
“Believe in the power of your authenticity,” she said, “Your dreams matter, your heart matters. Never let anyone make you doubt your worth.”
Manika Vishwakarma a 21-year-old Political Science and Economics student from Rajasthan represented India with confidence and grace.
She had earned the title of Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024 and made it to the Top 30.
Her journey ended before the Top 12 announcement.
The Miss Universe 2026 pageant will be held in Puerto Rico promised a fresh stage, new faces and new stories.
