New Delhi, 19th Nov: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has published 14 Statistical Reports on the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, offering a comprehensive breakdown of voting patterns, candidate performance, demographic participation and party-wise results.
According to the Commission, the reports include state and Assembly constituency-level information on electors, polling stations, voter turnout, gender-based participation, detailed results, winning candidate analysis and vote share of National, State and Registered Unrecognised Political Parties (RUPPs).
The Commission noted that the release of reports within five days of the election results marks a major improvement in data dissemination. Earlier, such statistical compilations were published after several weeks or months. The initiative aims to promote transparency and make election-related data easily accessible to stakeholders including academia, researchers, political observers and citizens.
Users can also access constituency-specific information through the Index Card feature available on the ECINet App under the Current Election section. These reports, prepared from secondary data recorded in Index Cards, are intended for academic and research purposes. The primary and legally valid data continue to remain with statutory forms maintained by the respective Returning Officers.
