New Delhi, 1st Nov: BJP MP and Bhojpuri film star Manoj Tiwari turned the stage musical at NDTV’s Bihar Power Play, taking sharp lyrical jibes at opposition leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Prashant Kishor ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
Participating in a light-hearted segment, Tiwari sang about Tejashwi Yadav, “Pehle apne bhai ko samhalo, apne ghar ko samhalo, fir Bihar ki baat karna,” meaning, “First, take care of your brother, manage your family, and then talk about Bihar.” The comment drew laughter from the audience and was seen as a jab at the RJD leader’s strained relationship with his brother, Tej Pratap Yadav.
Tiwari went further, questioning Tejashwi’s capability to govern the state. “How can someone who can’t handle his family manage Bihar?” he remarked.
The BJP MP then turned his attention to Prashant Kishor, branding him a “bhare ka aadmi” — implying that Kishor works for money, not ideology. “He is a leader on rent, ready to say anything for money. What has he done for Bihar in the last 10–12 years?” Tiwari said.
Mocking Kishor for not contesting the elections, he added, “Sabko ladake, khud hi maidan chhor jaye. Lagta hai paisa mila nahi yahase,” meaning, “He made everyone fight and left the field himself — looks like he didn’t get paid this time.”
