New Delhi, 31st Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the International Arya Mahasammelan 2025 in New Delhi, marking the 150th anniversary of Arya Samaj, and described it as a celebration deeply connected to the Vedic identity of the entire nation.

Recalling Swami Dayanand Saraswati’s timeless call to “Return to the Vedas,” the Prime Minister hailed him as a visionary sage and social reformer who reawakened India’s national consciousness during colonial rule. He lauded Arya Samaj for fearlessly upholding Indianness and empowering generations through education, social reform, and service.

Emphasizing India’s resurgence as a global advocate of sustainability and ethical living, PM Modi said, “Today, India has emerged as a leading global voice in the pursuit of sustainable development.” He also released a commemorative coin and postal stamp to mark the occasion.

The Prime Minister underscored Arya Samaj’s enduring contributions—preserving the Gurukul tradition, promoting women’s education, and inspiring the Swadeshi movement. He called on the Samaj to join national missions like Gyan Bharatam, natural farming, and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, linking them to India’s civilizational ethos.

PM Modi praised Arya Samaj’s disciplined, service-oriented lifestyle as an embodiment of “Krinvanto Vishwam Aryam”—to ennoble the world with noble thoughts—affirming that this ancient verse continues to guide India’s modern development vision.
