New Delhi, 31st Oct: Vice-President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary, recalling his lasting legacy in uniting India and strengthening the foundation of the nation.
As Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Radhakrishnan offered floral tributes to the Iron Man of India at Samvidhan Sadan. Later, at the Vice-President’s Enclave, he administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to unity and integrity.
In his capacity as President of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), the Vice-President also unveiled a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel during the 71st Annual General Body Meeting of the Institute.
Sharing his reflections on social media, Radhakrishnan lauded Sardar Patel’s visionary leadership in integrating the princely states and building a united, democratic India, describing his life as a beacon of inspiration for future generations.
