New Delhi, 29th Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a warm conversation with Japan’s newly appointed Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Wednesday, congratulating her on taking office and extending best wishes for a successful tenure.
The two leaders discussed their shared vision for advancing the India–Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership, focusing on economic security, defence cooperation, and talent mobility.
Modi and Takaichi agreed that the deepening of India–Japan ties plays a crucial role in ensuring global peace, stability, and prosperity, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region.
