New Delhi, 27th Oct: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today in what was described as a courtesy visit by the Rajasthan CMO.

CM Sharma said in a statement that he had the privilege of meeting the “architect of developed India” and received the Prime Minister’s “affectionate blessings and inspirational guidance.” He added that under PM Modi’s vision, his government is committed to the “all-round development of the state and public welfare while realising the vision of #aapnoagraniRajasthan.”

The meeting, which lasted for approximately one hour, included a review of key welfare and infrastructure schemes in Rajasthan that are supported by central funding.

CM Sharma also extended a formal invitation to the Prime Minister to attend the inaugural Rajasthani Pravasi Diwas to be held on 10 December, which aims to strengthen bonds with the global Rajasthani community and boost investment in the state.

This engagement is prominent as it marks the third interaction between Sharma and PM Modi in three months—following meetings in July and September. Observers note that questions about the timing of a state cabinet expansion may also have featured in their agenda.
