Jaipur, 4th Oct: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Friday said that the tradition of service and charity is society’s greatest strength, guiding its future and reinforcing its cultural values. He was addressing the Talent and Bhamashah Felicitation Ceremony organised by the National Nai Mahasabha in Jaipur.

Birla lauded the Sen community for considering service, labour, and dedication as the highest duty, thereby contributing significantly to nation-building. “Even today, this community inspires the younger generation through education, skills, and values,” he said.

Honouring Philanthropists and Achievers
At the programme, the Speaker felicitated meritorious youth and philanthropists (Bhamashah) from the Sen community. He stressed that the honour was not only of individuals but of the culture and collective values of society. “The tradition of service and charity within society is its greatest strength, and it is this that gives direction to the future,” Birla added.

He invoked Senji Maharaj’s message that labour is the highest worship and service the noblest religion, and highlighted the blessings of Narayani Mata in preserving traditions and values across centuries.

Role of Nai Mahasabha
Birla appreciated the Mahasabha’s efforts through initiatives such as blood donation camps, healthcare services, de-addiction drives, and education programmes. He said schemes like scholarships, coaching, and career guidance are creating new opportunities for youth empowerment. “Felicitation of talents not only recognises achievements but also instils energy, self-confidence, and inspires society to greater heights,” he noted.

Call to Youth
The Speaker urged young people to adopt the ideals of Senji Maharaj and teachings of Narayani Mata in their lives. He called on them to embrace education, skills, and technology to become self-reliant. “Only when every youth of society becomes capable and self-reliant will it be possible to build a strong and self-reliant India,” Birla said.

The programme was attended by Pujya Shankaracharya Shri Pragyanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore, Lok Sabha MP Rao Rajendra Singh, MLAs Balamukund Acharya and Acharya Shri Champalal Maharaj, Jaipur Mayor Dr Soumya Gurjar, Deputy Mayor Puneet Karnawat, and Sen community’s State President Ashok Sarna, along with a large number of community members.
