New Delhi, 3rd Oct: India has issued a stern warning to Pakistan, urging it to stop supporting terrorism or face serious consequences, including potential loss of its geographical standing, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi stated at an army post in Anupgarh, Rajasthan.

Gen Dwivedi emphasized that Indian forces will not maintain the restraint observed during Operation Sindoor 1.0, hinting at a follow-up operation if Pakistan persists in exporting terror. “If Pakistan wants to retain its place in geography, then it must stop state-sponsored terrorism,” he said, urging soldiers to remain prepared.

The warning comes after Air Chief Marshal AP Singh had revealed that Indian forces had downed four to five Pakistani fighter jets, including US-made F-16s and Chinese JF-17s, during Operation Sindoor in May. The operation targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, employing long-range precision weapons while avoiding civilian casualties and military targets.

Gen Dwivedi noted that India had presented evidence of the destroyed terrorist hideouts to the world to expose Pakistan’s terror infrastructure. At the event, three officers—BSF 140th Battalion Commandant Prabhakar Singh, Rajputana Rifles Major Ritesh Kumar, and Havildar Mohit Gaira—were honored for their exceptional contributions during Operation Sindoor.
