New Delhi, 2nd Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday commended the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on its centenary, describing it as a century of dedicated service to the nation.
He also shared the inspiring address delivered by Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji, which highlighted the RSS’s contributions to nation-building and its commitment to preserving India’s civilizational values.
Responding to posts by the RSS on X, the Prime Minister said, “An inspiring address by Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji, highlighting the rich contributions of the RSS to nation-building and emphasising the innate potential of our land to attain new heights of glory, thereby benefiting our entire planet. #RSS100Years”
In a Hindi post, Shri Modi added, “परम पूज्य सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहन भागवत जी ने अपने प्रेरक उद्बोधन में राष्ट्र निर्माण में संघ के अतुलनीय योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला है। उन्होंने भारतवर्ष के उस सामर्थ्य को भी रेखांकित किया है, जो देश को सशक्त बनाने के साथ-साथ संपूर्ण मानवता के लिए भी कल्याणकारी है। #RSS100Years”
The Prime Minister’s remarks come as the RSS marks 100 years since its founding by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in 1925, celebrating its role in fostering unity, discipline, and service in Indian society.
