Modi condemns Jerusalem terror attack, offers condolences to victims’ families

WASHINGTON – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday “Strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on innocent civilians in Jerusalem today. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those injured,” in a statement issued by the External Affairs Ministry.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
Modi reiterated India’s firm stance against terrorism, he added: “India condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and stands firm in its policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism.”
The attack in Jerusalem has drawn widespread condemnation from the international community, with leaders and governments expressing solidarity with the victims and their families.
Modi’s statement underscored India’s consistent position against terrorism and its commitment to global peace and security.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs also issued a statement condemned the attack and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
The diplomatic response reflects India’s unwavering commitment to counter terrorism and promote both regional and global stability, the statement added.
