New Delhi, 6th Sept: The President of India has appointed advocates Amitabh Kumar Rai and Rajiv Lochan Shukla as Judges of the Allahabad High Court.
According to a Press Communiqué issued on Saturday, the appointments were made in exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, following consultation with the Chief Justice of India. Both judges will assume charge of their respective offices with immediate effect.
The Allahabad High Court, one of the oldest and largest in the country, continues to see expansion in its judicial strength to meet the growing number of cases.
