New Delhi, 4th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday thanked Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong, for his words of confidence in India, describing Singapore as a trusted partner in the nation’s development journey.
In a post on social media platform X, PM Modi wrote: “Thank you Prime Minister Wong for your words of confidence in India! Singapore is a valued partner in our journey towards building a Viksit Bharat. We are committed to the swift implementation of the roadmap for our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with a focus on advanced manufacturing, skilling and digital frameworks.”
India and Singapore share a strong Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with collaborations spanning trade, technology, defence, innovation and education.
PM Modi’s remarks reaffirm the government’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties as part of India’s larger vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
