New Delhi, 3rd Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended warm greetings to the people of India, especially the tribal community, on the occasion of Karma Puja.

In his message, the Prime Minister said the festival, which celebrates the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters, also carries the deep tradition of worshipping nature.

Posting on X, Shri Modi wrote in Hindi, “I extend my best wishes on Karma Puja to all fellow citizens, especially the tribal community. This festival, symbolising the eternal bond between brothers and sisters, also highlights the importance of nature worship. May this sacred occasion bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to all, while inspiring greater commitment towards protecting the environment.”

The Prime Minister’s message underlined both the cultural essence and environmental significance of the festival, celebrated widely among tribal communities in several states.
