New Delhi, 27th Aug: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday addressed the centenary year lecture series at Vigyan Bhawan in the capital, Delhi. He said that the true foundation of the Sangh is pure devotion. This is the basis of their work. He noted that opposition has decreased significantly, and its intensity has faded.

Bhagwat stated that while they have found support, they must not become complacent. There is no time for rest. The work must continue until the goal of organizing the entire Hindu society is achieved. He advised befriending good people and showing compassion, not hatred, towards those who are wicked.

He said that there is no “initiative” in the Sangh, but there is a lot of “discouragement.”

He said, “If you come to the Sangh, you will not gain anything; what you have will also be taken away. This is what I say. What we are doing is a matter of experience.”

Bhagwat also explained that ‘Dharma’ is not ‘religion’. It is beyond worship and rituals. Dharma teaches balance, that we must live and society must also live. Dharma is a force for balance, and it does not allow for extremism.
