Ahmedabad, 21st Aug: In a shocking incident in Ahmedabad, a Class 10 student named Nayan Santani was stabbed to death by his junior following an argument outside their school. The killing has sparked massive protests from parents in the city.

Investigations have revealed a chilling Instagram chat in which the accused, a Class 8 student, appears to confess to his friend. When asked if he had stabbed someone, the boy replied, “Yes,” before showing a complete lack of remorse, saying, “Let it be. What has happened has happened.”

The killing, which took place just after the school bell rang on Tuesday, saw the junior student and a few others surround Nayan. A verbal fight turned physical, and the Class 8 student allegedly pulled out a knife, stabbed Nayan in the stomach, and fled. CCTV footage shows Nayan stumbling back into the school before he was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.

The accused, a minor, has been detained under the Juvenile Act. The incident has brought to light the issue of violence among students and has led to an FIR being registered.
