Patna, 16th Aug: A four-year-old boy is in critical condition after his genitals were allegedly chopped off by a neighbor in Patna on Saturday. The horrific incident took place in the city’s Gaurichak area.
Police reported that the family of the victim lodged a complaint, alleging that the brutal assault was the result of a “trivial issue.” The boy was immediately rushed and admitted to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), where he remains in critical condition.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Sadar-2) Ranjan Kumar confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation has been initiated. The accused couple, who are neighbors of the victim’s family, are currently on the run, and a manhunt is underway to apprehend them.
