The festival, which will be celebrated in India on Friday, August 15, marks the beginning of a new year according to the Shahenshahi calendar followed by the Parsi community.

In her message, President Murmu highlighted that Navroz symbolizes renewal, hope, and prosperity. She praised the Parsi community for their “spirit of enterprise and its dedication to public welfare,” acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the nation’s progress.
