New Delhi, 4th Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative, “Pariksha Pe Charcha” (PPC), has been conferred with a Guinness World Record for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” The recognition was awarded for an unprecedented 3.53 crore valid registrations for the 8th edition of the program, hosted on the MyGov platform.
The official Guinness World Record certificate was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi, attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw, and other senior officials.
Speaking at the event, Minister Pradhan stated that PPC, under the Prime Minister’s leadership, has redefined India’s approach to examinations by “turning stress into a festival of learning.” He noted that the 8th edition of the program also achieved over 21 crore viewers across all media platforms in 2025.
Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw praised the initiative as a unique platform that brings together students, parents, and teachers to promote well-being and stress-free learning. He highlighted that the record demonstrates the strong public trust in the initiative.
Since its inception in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a nationwide movement aimed at transforming exams into opportunities for self-expression and growth. The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s emphasis on joyful, experiential, and stress-free learning. Through personal interactions, the Prime Minister provides guidance on key challenges like time management, digital distractions, and emotional resilience.
The success of PPC 2025 is considered a collective achievement that reinforces the message that exams are not an end but a beginning.
