Kadapa, 1st Aug: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu made a notable entry to a public meeting in Gudem Cheruvu village today, arriving in an autorickshaw to distribute monthly welfare pensions under the ‘NTR Bharosa’ scheme.
According to an official press release, the Chief Minister traveled from the helipad to the event venue in the three-wheeler, a gesture that “delighted locals” and garnered attention. After his ride, Naidu sat briefly beside the driver for photographs, paid the fare in cash, and blessed the driver before proceeding to the public meeting.
The ‘NTR Bharosa’ scheme is a key welfare measure by the state government, providing financial support to vulnerable sections of society, including the elderly, infirm, widows, and persons with disabilities. The program aims to help them lead a dignified life.
