Bhopal, 30th July: A specialized residential training course for Sanskrit teachers concluded yesterday at the Maharishi Centre of Educational Excellence (MCEE) campus in Bhopal, preparing 18 educators to promote spoken Sanskrit across Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) schools nationwide. The intensive program, held from July 15th to 29th, 2025, was led by the highly qualified and experienced Sanskrit teachers, Dr. Satyavani and Mrs. Devaki.

These newly trained teachers are now set to return to their respective MVM schools, where they will impart spoken Sanskrit skills to an estimated 6,000 students annually. This initiative is a significant step towards revitalizing the ancient language.

During the valedictory session, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji addressed the participants, reiterating a long-standing commitment to Sanskrit education within the Maharishi Organization. He announced plans for numerous upcoming courses, both online and residential, designed to train a larger cohort of teachers with the ambitious goal of reaching approximately 10 lakh (one million) members of the Maharishi Organization over the next two years.

Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, former Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, also inspired the teachers, emphasizing that Sanskrit, often referred to as ‘Dev Vani’ (the language of the Gods), plays a crucial role in enhancing an individual’s overall personality and elevating their level of consciousness.

Brahmachari Girish Ji extended his appreciation and gratitude to Shri V. R. Khare Ji, Director of Communication and Public Relations for MVM Group, and Smt. Arya Nand Kumar, Joint-Director, for their efforts in organizing and meticulously arranging the course. Shri Khare, in turn, announced that the next round of online and residential Sanskrit training courses would commence very soon.

All 18 course participants, along with their instructors, Dr. Satyavani and Smt. Devaki, were felicitated with certificates, sweets, flowers, and mementos, marking the successful completion of their training.
