Amethi, 20th July: Two young men have been arrested in a village here for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy, subjecting him to a beating, and forcing him to lick their spit, police confirmed on Sunday.
According to police officials, the incident came to light following a complaint filed by the boy’s father. He alleged that on the evening of July 18, his son was taken away on a motorcycle by Nitin (23) and Rohit (24), both residents of the same village.
The father’s complaint detailed that the accused first took his son to Barsanda village, where they assaulted him. Subsequently, they transported him to a garden in the nearby Singhnamau village. It was there, the complainant told the police, that the two men sexually assaulted the boy and forced him to lick their spit.
Abhinesh Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bazar Shukul police station, confirmed the arrests. “Both the accused have been arrested, and further action is being taken in the case,” Kumar stated. Investigations into the distressing incident are ongoing.
