Bhopal, 18th July: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s second day of his Spain tour was dedicated to fostering collaboration between Madhya Pradesh’s textile sector and Spain’s world-class fashion and textile industries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav focused on attracting sustainable investment and promoting technology transfer within the textile sector during his engagements in La Coruña.

Key Activities on July 17:
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav arrived in La Coruña from Madrid on July 17. His itinerary included a visit to the Inditex company headquarters and meetings with company representatives. Discussions centered on promoting Madhya Pradesh as a potential production hub for European brands.

Dr. Yadav also toured La Coruña city and held meetings with representatives from the local government and the Chamber of Commerce. Site visits to textile companies were also part of his schedule. The Chief Minister engaged in discussions with various apparel and fashion companies regarding investment opportunities and attended a networking lunch with investors and institutional representatives. A parliamentary delegation also presented on investment opportunities, followed by one-on-one meetings.

In the evening, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav departed from La Coruña for Barcelona. Throughout his discussions, Dr. Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s policies, potential investment avenues in the textile and apparel manufacturing sector, and the advantages of the PM Mitra Park. He specifically presented Madhya Pradesh’s diverse and scenic locations and the state’s film-friendly policy, showcasing it as an ideal environment for international productions.
