Cuttack, 15th July: President Droupadi Murmu graced the convocation ceremony of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack on July 15, 2025.
Addressing students, faculty, and guests, she highlighted the university’s historical role in Odisha’s freedom movement and its continued excellence in education, inclusivity, and research. Murmu commended the institution’s focus on AI, ML, 3D printing, and cloud computing, while cautioning against their misuse.
She later laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of three buildings at Ravenshaw Girls’ High School, expressing hope that improved infrastructure will support enhanced learning environments.
Noting how girls often outperform when provided equal facilities, she urged female students to draw inspiration from women achievers across fields.
