Half-Naked, Drunk & Violent: MNS Leader’s Son Caught on Camera

GG News Bureau
Mumbai, 7th July:
In a shocking incident that ignites concerns over political impunity and rising intolerance, renowned nail artist Rajshree More has alleged abuse, threats, and intimidation by Rahil Sheikh, son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Vice President Javed Sheikh, following a deliberate car crash in Mumbai’s Andheri area.

More recounted the harrowing experience where Sheikh, allegedly heavily intoxicated and “half-naked,” rammed his SUV into her car multiple times, hurled abuses, and brazenly flaunted his political connections.

“He was so drunk he didn’t know his pants were falling off, but he still remembered his father’s influence,” More said in a viral video, adding that she now fears for her life.

The incident unfolded when More was returning home from Goregaon. She noticed an SUV hitting her vehicle repeatedly, eventually cornering her in a narrow lane. “The moment he saw me, he started abusing and threatening me,” she recalled, adding that the police intervened but were also subjected to abuse by Sheikh, who allegedly said, “My father will buy all of you.”

Sheikh reportedly resisted police instructions, refused to hand over his car keys, and sat arrogantly at the police station with his legs up on the desk, challenging the officers’ authority.

Political Intimidation and Targeting

More, a Marathi speaker, said she believes she’s being targeted for speaking up for migrants after an earlier video where she condemned an MNS-led attack on a non-Marathi shopkeeper. Although she deleted the video following threats to her business, she remains defiant.

“I did not apologise. I deleted the video because a party leader threatened to destroy my studio,” she said.

Fear and a Plea for Protection

The nail artist has since expressed deep fear, saying she is afraid to answer her door or step out. She has not yet sought police protection but is considering legal action. “I am scared. I haven’t left home in days. I feel like I’m being punished for supporting unity in Mumbai,” she said.

In an emotional appeal to MNS chief Raj Thackeray, More urged for tolerance and inclusivity, saying, “Mumbai is a city that feeds everyone. Migrants are part of its strength. Targeting them weakens the soul of this city.”

“If anything happens to me, my family or my business, the political party targeting me will be responsible,” she warned.

Call for Raj Thackeray’s Intervention

She also implored Raj Thackeray to curb rising hostility against non-Marathis and ensure his cadre does not misuse power. “Help the Marathi women who are suffering, whose husbands beat them, instead of going after hard-working people,” she said, underlining the city’s identity as a melting pot.

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with users demanding justice for More and action against the MNS leader’s son. Meanwhile, police have yet to confirm whether Rahil Sheikh will face criminal charges beyond detention.
