New Delhi, 27th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended warm greetings to citizens across the country on the occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra, a revered Hindu festival celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm.
Sharing his wishes on social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote, “On the sacred occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all fellow citizens. May this divine festival of faith and devotion bring happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and excellent health into everyone’s lives. Jai Jagannath!”
The Rath Yatra, held annually in Puri, Odisha, commemorates the journey of Lord Jagannath, along with his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra, in grand chariots pulled by thousands of devotees. The event draws pilgrims from around the world and is seen as a symbol of spiritual unity and deep-rooted cultural heritage.
