New Delhi, 25th June: On the occasion of Balidan Diwas of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder president of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, BJP leaders paid floral tributes at his statue at the party headquarters in New Delhi on June 23.
Remembering his contribution, the party noted that Dr. Mookerjee was a visionary of the idea of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat (One India, Great India) and played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for a new political direction in independent India.
