PM Modi to Embark on Three-Nation Tour to Cyprus, Canada and Croatia from June 15-19

New Delhi, 14th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set for a major three-nation tour, visiting Cyprus, Canada, and Croatia from June 15 to 19, 2025.

First Stop: Cyprus (June 15-16)
At the invitation of Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, PM Modi will make an official visit to Cyprus. This marks the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Cyprus in over two decades, highlighting a renewed focus on ties. In Nicosia, the Prime Minister will talk with President Christodoulides and address business leaders in Limassol. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and boost India’s engagement with the Mediterranean region and the European Union.

Second Stop: Canada for G7 Summit (June 16-17)
Next, PM Modi will head to Kananaskis, Canada, for the G7 Summit, invited by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. This will be PM Modi’s sixth consecutive time attending the G7 Summit. He will exchange views with G7 leaders, other invited nations, and heads of international organizations on crucial global issues. Key topics include energy security, technology, innovation, and specifically the AI-energy connection and Quantum-related issues. The Prime Minister will also hold several bilateral meetings.

Final Stop: Croatia (June 18)
To conclude his tour, PM Modi will make an official visit to Croatia, at the invitation of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. This will be the first ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Croatia, a significant milestone for bilateral ties. PM Modi will hold discussions with Prime Minister Plenković and meet Croatian President Zoran Milanović. This visit further highlights India’s commitment to strengthening ties with its partners in the European Union.
