Vice President Dhankhar Addresses Convocation at Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth, Emphasizes Nationalism and Youth Empowerment

Sirsa- Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar addressed the Annual Convocation of Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth in Sirsa, Haryana, urging students to embrace national interest above all and contribute to India’s growth.

He praised Chaudhary Devi Lal’s legacy, emphasizing the importance of serving the nation. “We are Indians, and our national duty is supreme,” he said, stressing that personal and political interests should never overshadow national priorities.

Encouraging students to embrace new opportunities, Dhankhar highlighted India’s rapid economic transformation. “No nation has grown as fast as Bharat in the last decade,” he said, citing India’s advancements in digital transactions, economic upsurge, and infrastructure development.

He dismissed the fear of failure, citing India’s space achievements like Chandrayaan-3. “Failure is a myth. It gives you an opportunity to improve,” he remarked, urging students to innovate and take risks.

The Vice President also underscored the need for civic responsibility, environmental consciousness, and economic nationalism. He urged students to support the “Vocal for Local” initiative and reduce dependence on imports to boost domestic industries.

Concluding his speech, Dhankhar lauded Tau Devi Lal’s contributions and emphasized the importance of rural development and farmer welfare, calling on students to actively participate in nation-building.
