India Has Changed From An Assistance-Seeking Nation to One That Helps Internationally: Anurag Thakur

Himachal Pradesh, 20th May. Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur made an appeal to elect Modi ji as India’s Prime Minister and to establish the BJP as the winner at more than a dozen public gatherings today in the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency’s Dehra and Nadaun assemblies. Speaking during the meetings, Shri Anurag Thakur stated that India had changed from an assistance-seeking nation to one that provides help thanks to Modi ji’s leadership. While Congressmen were hiding in their homes during the Corona outbreak, BJP activists led by Modi ji were helping the public on the streets. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we not only saved the lives of our fellow citizens but also expeditiously administered over 220 crore free vaccinations.

The Modi government also facilitated the safe repatriation of our compatriots who were left behind during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Approximately three hundred children from Himachal were part of the team that Operation Ganga brought back to India from the war-torn region, much to the delight of our Himachali moms. I frequently run into these kids and their families during my programs, and they are really appreciative of Modi ji’s prompt assistance.

“During the Corona pandemic, every BJP worker was performing social service by becoming a Covid warrior, and as a result, countless lives were saved,” stated Shri Anurag Thakur. However, at that same time, members of the Indian Alliance and the Congress Party were holed up in their houses. This is how we are different from them. We prioritize the country before ourselves.

Living in the Himalayas can be challenging at times, according to Shri Anurag Thakur. Even though it was getting harder to get to the people here during the epidemic, the Bharatiya Janata Party workers and I persisted in providing the food, medicine, supplies, and equipment that the people of Himachal needed to combat the disease. Our ASPTAL service’s 32 mobile medical units were also constantly assisting with more than 40 tests, Covid testing, immunization campaigns, and the delivery of necessary supplies across state boundaries.

“With my own efforts, I provided health facilities in Himachal worth ₹10.3 crores during Corona,” continued Shri Anurag Thakur. I established an oxygen bank here, from which 1400 beds were continuously receiving oxygen, to guarantee that there would never be a scarcity of oxygen throughout Himachal Pradesh, particularly in the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency. In total, we assembled almost one thousand oxygen concentrators, two hundred oxygen cylinders, and four oxygen plants to set up this oxygen bank. In addition, I had given the locals in my area 4 lakh masks, 25,000 gloves, 10,000 face shields, 7000 PPE kits, 2000 oxygen regulators, 100 oxygen concentrators, and a host of other necessary supplies and medications. “Modi ji is the son of Mother India, so he understands the love of all the mothers of the country for their children,” stated Shri Anurag Thakur. This is the reason Modi ji specifically discussed the safe return of Indian students, including over 300 children from Himachal Pradesh, to the Russian President during the Russia-Ukraine war, when thousands of our youngsters were stranded there. Modi ji and employees like us are blessed with the presence of all moms today.

“By overseeing Operation Ganga, the Prime Minister enabled the secure repatriation of over 27,000 Indian nationals ensnared in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine,” stated Shri Anurag Thakur. Even though the Indian sailors received the death penalty in Qatar, it was the Modi administration that forced them to return home without incident. Our Sikh brothers and the Guru Granth Sahib were respectfully transported to India from Afghanistan by Modi ji’s new India. Approximately 3 crore Indians from all over the world arrived in India without incident during the Corona era. Indian assistance always goes first, whether it is for a crisis in Turkey, Syria, Libya, or Nepal or any other part of the world. This is a compelling image of the new India. India, which was once among those in need of assistance, is now one of the providers. This is what the Modi administration has accomplished.

In addition, Shri Anurag Thakur stated, “16 months have passed and they have not fulfilled even a single promise made to the people,” in response to a query concerning the Himachal Government. The Himachal Pradesh moms and sisters are currently waiting for ₹1,500 per month. Congress did not purchase cow dung for ₹ 2 per kg or set a price of ₹ 100 per liter for milk. They did not even offer 300 free electricity units or give 5 lakh jobs to young people. Nine of their MLAs quit within 15 months for this reason. In the brief span of 12 to 15 months, the public’s confidence in a government has never been undermined before in Himachal Pradesh’s political history. Today, there is tremendous enthusiasm in the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency and entire Himachal to make Modi ji the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. Wherever I am going today, the public is blessing the BJP with an open heart.”
