New Delhi, 8th April. Renowned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has fiercely slammed Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar for his recent claims saying that she had consumed beef in the past.
In a robust rebuttal posted on Instagram, the actor-turned-politician clarified her position, vehemently rejecting the unfounded rumors circulated about her alleged past consumption of beef.
Ranaut stated, “I don’t consume beef or any other kind of red meat. It is shameful that completely baseless rumors are being spread about me.”

Ranaut affirmed her Hindu identity, asserting, “My people know me, and they know that I am a proud Hindu, and nothing can ever mislead them. Jai Shri Ram.”
The controversy ignited last week when Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar alleged that Kangana had previously indicated her preference for and consumption of beef.
Reacting to Wadettiwar’s remarks, BJP leader Shaina NC condemned his statements as audacious and devoid of ideological substance. She lambasted the Congress for its recurring tendency to make ludicrous comments and accused the party of being anti-women, citing previous instances involving MP Randeep Surjewala’s comments about Hema Malini.
In a significant turn of events, Kangana Ranaut recently joined the BJP and was nominated as the BJP candidate in Mandi.
Speaking about her foray into politics, Kangana expressed her long-standing desire to advocate for the welfare of the people. She emphasized that her decision to align with the BJP stemmed from the need for a larger platform to address pressing issues, including pay parity and women empowerment.
Since entering politics, Kangana has actively engaged in campaigning, leveraging her platform to connect with constituents and address their concerns. Her entry into the political arena adds a dynamic dimension to the electoral landscape, as she brings her charisma and determination to fight for the welfare of the people.
