Progressive Steps: Yogi Government Boosting Youth Employment in Uttar Pradesh

Through the ground-breaking ceremony (GBC 4.0), the Yogi government is announcing an investment of Rs 10 lakh crore in Uttar Pradesh and plans to generate 34 lakh jobs in the process. Youth across the state—that is, in every region, division, and district—will have access to employment opportunities. The intriguing part is that this investment will also significantly increase employment opportunities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities like Kanpur Nagar and Bulandshahr.

Private industrial park will provide jobs for 2.5 lakh people

Government estimates state that the private industrial park that will be established in Kanpur city will only employ 2.5 lakh people. Moreover, 70,000 jobs will be created by Obdu Group’s investment in the Digital Doctor Clinic in Bulandshahr. Large-scale jobs will also be generated in other districts as a result of major projects.

At Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow’s capital, the Yogi government unveiled over 14,000 projects valued at over Rs 10 lakh crore on February 19. A 400 crore rupee investment in Bulandshahr

Similarly, Obdu Group has established Obdu Digital Health Ltd. as a subsidiary. As a result, numerous cities throughout the state are establishing Village Health Centers powered by artificial intelligence. These health centers will function similarly to online doctor’s offices, offering telemedicine to treat patients in far-off villages as well as a full range of medical services to anyone who walks in with an appointment and staff presence. More than 70,000 people will be employed as a result of this, which will involve an investment of Rs 3350 crore in Bulandshahr alone.

Districts like Lucknow, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Gonda, Bahraich, Kannauj, Kanpur, Sitapur, Hardoi, Rae Bareli, Mirzapur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Shahjahanpur, Banda, Hamirpur, Pratapgarh, Bhadoi, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, and Gorakhpur will also be included in the implementation of this project after Bulandshahr. will be lowered to the floor. The group is investing around Rs 10,000 crore in this, and 1.90 lakh people will be employed directly or indirectly throughout the state.

Creation of commercial and real estate projects

A spokesman for the state government stated that the real estate industry will provide jobs for a significant number of people. M4M India Pvt. Ltd. was the most preferred investment option in Gautam Buddha Nagar. An investment of Rs 7500 crore is being made in real estate and commercial projects, creating 14,000 jobs in the process. In a similar vein, Prateek Relators India Pvt. Ltd. is investing Rs 2600 crore in a mixed-use real estate project in Ghaziabad that is expected to create over 5,000 jobs locally. In a similar vein, Chitra Realcon Pvt. Ltd. is investing Rs 500 crore in real estate and commercial projects in Ghaziabad. 5000 jobs will result from this.

Many jobs will also be produced by these businesses, including Air India SATS Airport Services Pvt. Ltd. in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

At a cost of Rs 4,000 crores, it is erecting an air cargo terminal at Jewar International Airport, creating jobs for 5,000 people.

Mathura’s Keshav Publication Pvt. Ltd. With an investment of Rs 1250 crore, it is launching a publishing and plastic product manufacturing unit that will include stationery and electrical goods. Ten thousand people will have jobs as a result of this.

Designo Pvt. Ltd. Using Rs 800 crores, a Handicraft and Toy Manufacturing and Export Unit is being constructed in Moradabad, which will create jobs for 10,000 people.

Similarly, Torrent Power Ltd. It is setting up a 24 MW PSP project in Sonbhadra at a cost of Rs 13200 crore, which will provide about 5 thousand (4800) employment in the area.
