New Delhi, 22nd Feb. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh is scheduled to chair the Nation-wide Pension Adalat in New Delhi on February 22, 2024.
Addressing pensioners’ grievances promptly is a top priority for the Government, and to ensure swift resolution, the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare organizes Pension Adalats where multiple stakeholders convene for on-the-spot redressal.
The Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare will convene the Nation-wide Pension Adalat on February 22, 2024, under the leadership of Dr. Jitendra Singh. The aim is to expedite the resolution of pensioner grievances registered on CPENGRAMS, the centralized platform for grievance redressal.
The Pension Adalat will focus on addressing grievances from 12 Ministries/Departments, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Defence Finance, CBDT, Department of Economic Affairs, Department of Ex-Servicemen’s Welfare, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Ministry of Railways, and Ministry of Culture.
A total of 105 pensioner grievances have been listed for discussion, covering various cases such as superannuation, family pension, and voluntary retirement.
The event will be attended by the Secretary of the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare, senior officials from the 12 Ministries/Departments, representatives from 50 Pensioner Welfare Associations, and pensioners who have filed grievances.
This collaborative effort is to provide a platform for pensioners to voice their concerns and receive prompt redressal, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction.
